Medu vadai is a traditional savoury snack and a street food of Tamilnadu.

  • Urad dal- 1 cup
  • Pepper corns- 1tsp
  • Jeera- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  1. Soak Urad dal for 3 hrs in plain water.
  2. Grind in a grinder or mixer by adding very little by little water.
  3. Transfer to a bowl. Add coarsely grounded pepper, jeera along salt.
  4. Fry them in oil under medium heat till they turn golden brown.
