    @iyerviji
    My dear Viji
    Thank you for your second nomination of @Needtobestrong 's Is It Really That Good To Have Siblings?
    The OP has raised a very interesting question. We have come across ideal sibling bonding in the epic Ramayana. We have also come across sibling rivalry of the fiercest kind in the world's first family, Adam and Eve. The murder of Abel by his sibling Cain sets the tone of the days to come. Sibling Rivalry is indeed a huge problem and more often than not parents themselves are the reason for it. I cannot agree that it is an insurmountable problem. Sibling rivalry starts at the growing up stage and that's the vital time to nip it in the bud.

    Thanks for the nomination of Vijima's post, Anusha. How right she is. Right from the word 'go' we end up in situations not chosen by us. Right from being born, our circumstances, our parents, our family, friends, society, culture, right unto how and when we hand in our pail ..... nothing is entirely under our control. The only choice one has is to be happy or unhappy. Like it or lump it.

    Thanks Rihana for the nomination. Very concise and sensible no-frills advice indeed.

    I would like to nominate this post of iyerviji.
    She describes "My Life" in brief, understates her grit to survive, and acknowledges (yoohoo @Rihana) the kind people who had helped her, given her a leg up, saw her potential at her employment even though she be not prequalified with credentials, and offers an indirect advisory for all girls to go out to work. Because it is a guaranteed way to happy interactions with other humans. Because it is where your usefulness would get recognized in tangible ways--in real money, increased responsibilities and promotions. Married women (in that scheme to be happy ever after) should not need a plan B. However, a career is a sure way to have one. Happy to see that post. :clap2:
    A fine post !
