Oats Adai – An indian breakfast recipe with lots of nutrition.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Oats – 3/4 cup
  • Toor dal – 1/4 cup
  • Channa dal – 1/4 cup
  • Urad dal & moong dal – 1 tbsp each
  • Red chillies – 6 nos
  • Salt –as required
PREPARATION METHOD:
  1. Soak all dals together for nearly 2-3 hours.
  2. In a Mixie, blend oats,red chillies,fennel and ginger to fine powder.
  3. Add soaked dal to this and grind coarsely (like broken wheat texture),add little water while grinding.
  4. Make a thick consistency batter.
  5. To the thick batter add chillie flakes and asafoetida.
