New Year’s resolutions are like Wi-Fi connection – always seem to drop off when most needed. This morning I decided to go the paper-pencil route and wrote down a few nice-to-have resolutions. OK more honestly, I simply copied over a few uncrossed out items from to-do’s of the last few weeks. All that hard work meant I needed another cup of tea. Got that cup back to my desk and couldn’t find any scratch paper.. So folded over the nice-to-have resolutions paper and used it as a coaster. : )

No matter what your resolutions or how strong those are, please do remember to nominate the fine posts you come across when reading IL.

    Dear Vijiakka,

That mobility support is important for a few days for a fracture. Please take it easy and walk slowly. You will be back to normal soon.

Thank you for nominating my two posts early in 2024 and I consider that as a new year gift from my dear Akka to me. My humble namaskarams to you for Mahara Sankaranthi.

    Dear @Rihana,

I know right? me here? Well, you know that when I read something that touches me and can benefit others, where else to go but bring it to FP!

I am happy to nominate @mangaii's https://indusladies.com/community/threads/healing-and-recovery.317843/ She has beautifully portrayed her feelings and, more importantly, her growth. It calls for a lot of courage to look inward, and make changes. Happiness is indeed a fleeting moment but life is an accumulation of those moments. Incidentally, I just read this quote (if I can call it that) this morning - "Think about the donuts of your day" - Even if you cry a little, you can think about the potato chips! The biggest mistake we all make is we mostly think we should be either happy or sad - all the time. The truth is we can be happy even if we are sad.....in those little moments! Well, I don't want to write a response here but couldn't help it!
