@parineetha - Your quiches look delicious. Oven baked and full of good stuff :)

@satchitananda - Amazing stuffed tomatoes. I envy your air fryer skills. I'm going to stick to the good old skillet for lack of enthusiasm after I figured out that my kids won't eat air fryed meat.

@Shanvy - Yummy. Biriyani kaha hai? Salan with tomatoes, I have to try it.
Btw, cast iron skillet, I have a few. I love how easily I can cook in it once I have seasoned it well. It's heavy and I agree hard on the shoulder but I lift it with my good arm! These days I'm a pro at using it with less oil. I haven't seen the light weight version. I've bought one of the pricey ones but this is my favorite. It's not as expensive but the best one out there.

No theme for this week yet? How about a soup?

Satchi - I think I mentioned two weeks for tomatoes since I delayed coming up with the theme. If everyone is done with tomatoes, we can do soups starting tomorrow.

    Ira: Tomato! Tomato!
Laks: Shut up! Where is tomato in that dish?

Ira: Babe, I am just back in the kitchen.
Laks: Liar! I saw you typing away furiously at random people on IL.

Ira: But I just resumed my kitchen and I always have my laptop even if I am beamed to Burundi.
Laks: Don't deflect the topic. First, no show and then poor performance.

Ira: My brain is knackered. I ran out of ideas so I tossed into a casserole all the vegetables I could find in my fridge. Look, I wrote a poem for you here
Laks: You wrote that poem for a tomato not for me.

Ira: But I dedicated it for you.
Laks: I said tomato as the main i.e, "star" ingredient and not as a cameo or item number in the dish.

Ira: Listen, regarding soups, I only have a stove and a pot. Do I need any special apparatus to distil soups?
Laks: Don't deviate the topic. Tumne tomato ki naak katwa di. Brace yourself for the soup. Don't stir few soggy vegetables into a paste and call that a soup.

Ira: Aye! Aye! Point noted. Soups here we come!

I lost track. Then, I was occupied with other things. Then, fascinated with more things. Then, got excited about oncoming things. Then amazed with remaining things. I have less attention span. I am easily distracted. I cannot sustain interest for long on a single thing. That happened! No other reason from my end to abandon the initiative. That is one of the reasons I rarely start anything in IL/elsewhere but only prefer to chip in for I would have lost interest in it even before it took off. I am too fickle to nurture initiatives. I only graze and then move over quickly. Picture me: A maniacal and hyper-excited monkey who is stimulated and awakened and fascinated with every aspect of life. Too many things excite me in this naturally-endowed serotonin levels. I am an extreme incarnate of a giddy soul. Yakking an essay even for a simple answer should demonstrate that super-excited feeling about every silly activity in life.
