    Dear Cheeniya Sir,

    Thank you very much for your kind words. It’s your constant encouragement that gives me teeny weeny bit of confidence to write more. My English is more like the water that comes through our Chennai taps- trickles. Where as we have members here, who can flood IL with their amazing command over English- many times I stand dumbfounded What is amazing is the outstanding humour you possess, age not withstanding!Thank you Cheeniya Sir.     Another great nomination by you!
    I refer to your nomination of SGBV's Proud Parenting Moment
    What really made me feel warm about the post is the undercurrent of pride and love behind every word SGBV has written. It is about a normal school jamboree but she has made it a gripping read through her skillful narration. SGBV ends her narration with the words 'In fact, a good parenting is not spending your whole time, sacrificing your personal life for the kids' and I'll say Amen to her.

    That's indeed a mouth-watering nomination. Geeta's Soliloquy
    is so delicious that I immediately ordered for my Bhelpuri without any delay. At my age, I have been asked to go nowhere near a sizeable number of eatables but by the Grace of God Bhelpuri is not one of them. Hallelujah!

    You do have a talent to pick out masterful posts for nomination.
    Your selection of Geeta's two responses to Extreme Anxiety is indeed laudatory. I have not much standing to contribute anything on this subject but I can share with you my personal experience. When my wife went into labour to deliver my second child, I was standing in front of the ward where my wife was labouring. My mil was there wailing about the pain being undergone by my wife. From time to time, she was throwing a hostile look at me! When the sound of the crying of the new born was heard, my mil's frown turned to a huge grin as she came near me to congratulate me!

    My first nomination for November is this post by @Amulet: Bored At Work.

    Succinct advice on what to do at work when there seems to be nothing to do. "Your project is to establish a reputation for yourself" is a neat goal. The suggested steps Amulet listed are a beautiful balance of demonstrating your individuality and ability to define your work without being a show-off. The idea can be applied to almost any new job. Take what is given to you and show what you can do with it beyond what you were asked to do with it.
