    I came across article in a mag which I would like share with you
    Do not try to learn yoga fro books/mags.An authentic yoga practice is one in which physical postures,breathing practices and meditation are incorporated into a daily routine.Approach your practice with a sense of curiosity.Learn from a teacher who is a yoga practitioner and follows authentic traditions.Do not believe Gurus who promise miracles or cures that are not backed by scientific evidence.
    Yoga vs gym
    Yoga is simplified and needs no equipment.
    It is suitable for all age groups.
    It can be done anywhere
    Gym exercises have temporary effects ,but yoga is long lasting and has deeper benefits.
    Yoga balances the mind and body.
    It is curative and prevents ailments of mind and body.
    Yoga improvesand balances body circulation and hormone secretion resulting in excellent metabolism.

    Hello Kanaka
    That is a good article. That is true that yoga is very good but you need to do it perfectly.
    But in today's life style many of us prefer gym as we do not get good yoga teachers everywhere.
