yoga asanas and pranayama for weight loss

    simple exercises for abdomen;
    1. abdominal crunches.
    lie on your back. keep your legs stretched. fold your hands and keep them under your neck. this is the position to start the exercise. start moving from lying down position to touch your knees with your bent arms. each time you get up inhale and while touching the knees exhale. try to do this 20 times.

    same exercise can be done by keeping the legs slightly raised from the ground.

    2. abdominal cycling exercises.
    lie on your back. keep your legs stretched. start the pedalling action with your legs. inhale and cycle with one leg raised above and the other near the ground.try doing 50 counts.
    3. reverse cycling.
    position is same like cycling. try reverse cycling by moving your legs in anticlockwise direction.
    4.leg raising exercises,
    lie on your back, keep your legs stretched. inhale and raise your right leg to 90 degrees. stay straight. exhale and bring down your right leg. try doing this for 10 counts. repeat with your left leg also for 10 counts.
    double leg raising. inhale and raise your both the legs together. stay at 90 degrees . try doing this for 10 rounds.
    5. leg rotation exercises. lie on your back. keep your legs stretched, start rotating your right leg in clockwise direction for 10 counts. repeat the same in anti clockwise also.
    repeat the same for other leg also.
    6. double leg rotation. only clockwise is advised. start rotating both your legs together for complete circle. try doing this for 10 counts.

    yes these are simple exercises but difficult to do in the beginning...anyway good info and thanx for sharing!!
