    Couldn't go to the gym yesterday evening. But compensated with 30 mins power walking & jogging this morning.

    For today, planning to hit the gym in the evening............ Let's see.

    I went to the Gym yesterday (third day in row!! Yes!!). I did 15 mins of run+walk and 15 minutes of abs.

    First objective was to drag myself there consistently. Now, I need to do more when I am there. What I am doing is too little considering what you all do. You all are a bunch of over-performers:hatsoff

    My ideal schedule should be, I think..

    20 mins of run + walk
    20 mins of weights
    20 mins of abs

    Btw, what is powerwalk?

    Hi Jey,

    Power walkis walking really fast. I have a setting on the tread mill . Actually a couple of different configurations. It starts off slow, then increases/decreases the pace and inclines rather drastically at regular intervals for a timed duration.. So at the end of 30 minutes, you have a really good work out , burning about 300 plus cals.....

    Outside of a treadmill, the power walk is walking at like 4.5 mph. Almost close to jogging but not jogging.

    Good Morning
    I finished my workout early morning
    1/2 hour walk (cannot call it brisk after reading explanation)
    1/2 cycle

    Glad I got it done since have date with hubby for lunch (should be careful not to overeat what with all this date excitement going on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    Dear Jey
    Consider me under achiever I am obese. I have to workout longer with greater intensity and be very very very consistent. My buddies here online are helping me by being supportive and understanding. I know atleast one person who is on this thread only to support me as she need not lose any weight. It is incredibly kind of her to help me. Sometimes we need this extra help.
    Maybe I am rambling on;
    But everyone can do at their own pace what is comfortable for them.
    Here on this thread we are going to support each other;

    Did a 1/2 hour in the evening too. Did better in the 1/2 hour than in 1 hour in morning.

    WHERE IS EVERYBODY ???????????????

    Did not work out today. and probably not tomorrow also. ( will get my tread mill done early morning but no gym). Too busy these two days... so excuse me. Will catch up over the weekend.

    No work out yesterday for me - my goal is 3-4 times a week - when I am at the gym, I work my tail off, so I consider it my day off!! Not sure about today - but tomorrow definite - 2 whole hrs! Friday nights are my cleaning nights - so will be doing a lot of walking up and down, etc. Lightweight exercise - nevertheless, something!

    Today finished my 30 minute on Elliptical and 20 min weights
    I have to thank my dear husband for sending(pushing) me to workout .
