Weightloss While Being Locked Down

    Hello girls!!

    How do you manage to get your exercise in this lockdown?
    Whats your daily routine?
    What about food?
    Please share. I seriously want to start weightloss journey.Anyone want to join?
    I am 47, 88KG, Thyroid, Diabetes person but usually start loosing when I put-in efforts. Problem is not motivated much.

    Count me in.I am into inch loss and home work out have always given me best results compared to visiting the gym.I workout in the mornings. I portion size my food and use HealthifyMe app.

    First few weeks cooked variety foods and enjoyed slowly my weight gain started. So now I am in intermittent fasting and started ab exercise early morning.

    There are lot of YouTube videos to motivate you to exercise. I high one you like the best?

    I suggest walking workouts by Leslie where she walks in place for one mile to three miles and more.. very simple and easy to do.You will also lose some weight doing it.

    As for food,try to eat a little bit less from every meal throughout the day..

    I do Jillian Micheals workout dvds and bodyrock's bootcamps.I also do Lesie walk when I am bored.I love Jillian,she is tough but her cross training workouts (strength training using weights and body weight,cardio and abs) have given me the best results.

    We have a stepper at home and use that just about every day. Daily routine also involves a few minutes of stretching/yoga, but need to do more.

    As for food, we just try to have simple recipes, such as vegetable soup, moong dal khichdi, masoor dal with vegetables, and have some fruit each day. Make sure to drink plenty of water, that will also help you out with the weight loss. I struggle with weight and thyroid too, so I understand.

    If nothing else, try to think of people who may freely comment to you about your weight (providing unsolicited opinions) and that may be a motivation to lose weight. Of course, its probably best not to care what they say or think but it can be hard if you are a sensitive person. I know that I would probably take it hard if someone suddenly told me that I gained a lot of weight, so that would motivate me.

    I am 35, 60 kgs. My weight loss is always on and off and I never reach my target weight 50 kgs.
    Would like to join here and will post about my workout and planning to do IF from morning 10am to 7pm.

    Has anyone any experience in losing weight from diet alone. i have always been overweight, in quarantine I have managed not to put on any weight but would like to lose some weight (why not). With gyms and yoga centres closed, diet is the only thing I can control.

    I have been doing walk with leslie.. there are many videos of hers in youtubexx its really gud but the one i like the most is “10000 indoor step challenge” by Joanna soh... 15 exercise done twice in 30 mins. Very effective.. i sweat a lot.. 30 mins just goes off. U do it as a family its so much fun.
