Weight Loss team - To shed weight permanently

    Since i started my diet a month ago, I lost 2 KGs. Am encouraged & will continue till I reach my target. Though am not following the diet strictly, it does pay off. Pls keep up your diet & do not give up.

    How are you all doing with your weight loss program? I did not see any monthly updates looks like everybody are busy. Well this is this month's update I lost about 3lbs very happy about it. I am steadily loosing weight with out any strict diet..

    I'm 25 yrs old and a mother of a 2.5 yr old.
    current wt:161
    Target wt:125
    So i have to lose atleast 35+ pounds .
    Plz suggest me some good diet chart.

    Its good u loose wt upto 3 lbs. Its really nice to hear.

    I was out of station n arrived in city today itself. So I cud not response.

    My original wt is 60 kgs.

    I want to decrease first 55kgs n later to 50kgs.

    Now with small small exercises n normal diet my wt become 57kgs.

    my diet program is
    early morning honey with warm water

    breakfast 2 dosas with half cut tea/2/3 idlis with half cup tea

    lunch : 1/4 glass rice with vegitables, rasam and curd

    dinner : 2 pulkas

    Thats it.

    Can anyone join me? let's lose weight together.

    I am in the SF bay area. I want to lose a LOT of weight. If anyone in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain view or Santa Clara and surrounding area wants to lose weight, join me. Lets together fight overweight/obesity. I am a very simple person, very approachable and friendly person. I speak English, Tamil and Kannada. Supporting each other helps lose weight and be consistent until the goal is reached. My simple formula is eat healthy and exercise regularly. Let's do it.

    Hi Mythreyee,
    Me too want to lose some, I just need to loose 5 - 10 lbs to get back my pre-pregnancy weight.
    My difficult part is, I have hypothyroid, which makes very difficutl to loose wt.
    On top of it, I have PMS, so little swelling in body would show me that I have gained couple of lbs.
    My daily routines :
    I don't eat sugar at all, rice is just 1/2 a cup.
    Eat lots of greeny's and chapathi.
    Drink only once coffee in the morning and 2 glasses of milk a day.
    Eat atleast one fruit a day.
    Exercise 1/2 hr on elliptical and 10 mins stretching exercise.


    On top of all these workout, i have not seen any improvements.
    But still working everyday.

    puni, continue your great workout and eating schedule. It will work in a long run. I like the schedule that you are following. Do you take vitamin supplement everyday?

    HI Mythreyee,
    Yes, I do take multi vitamins atleast 2-3 times a week.
    If I don't take vitamins and calcium supplement everyday, my PMS would become worse.
