    Thanx a lot alpa for your quick response. By beans you mean "Rajma". on only on sundays during lunch & dinner we have rajma & rice.

    As my uric acid is on upper level i can't have these in routine.

    HI dear,
    am sorry to hear about oyur URIC level, let me gogle to get some info on how to reduce it. Yes rajma is the red kidney beans.What diet has the doctor asked you to follow, have you googled to find out how ti reduce it and what to take and what not to take, you know tablets will not help you need to really look after your diet. i do h ope that you take in at least 2 litres of hot water as it would flush your kidneys toxins out vis urination

    Thanx for taking so much care & providing links....so nice of u dear:)

    doctors told me to stop eating or eat less of rajma, dals, not to have milk paneer.....

    even i eat less of these things....and even don't take milk.......don't know why my uric acid is on upper level

    i can't tell u there is so much pain in my feet,heels & legs.....i feel tired even while walking during working in home.......how can i go for a walk........my husband keep on taunting me....that pls go for a walk..do something, reduce ur weight........but he can't feel my pain:rant.........i know he is saying so only for me.as he says all my health problem will be solved if i try to reduce my weight.......even i know........but what shud i do........in so much pain....some times i feel like cutting my feet/legs...when pain is unbearable:spin.....but....."jissey dard hota hai usi ko sehna pata hai".

    diet chart for 04/01/10

    Hi Alpa and others,
    I couldnt keep the diet strictly on thursday, was ok till evening, then for dinner had some rice. Excuses are stress,PMS etc:(

    Yesterday my period started so didnt do any exercise, just walked for 30 mins.
    My diet
    Morning: cinnamon tea
    BF: 1/2 cup skim milk and 1 apple and 1 pear and 1/2 cup cottage cheese

    Lunch : veg curry with moong dal and 1 pear

    Snack : few peanuts and few baby carrots
    Dinner : 1 dosai with tomato chutney and veg soup with some chicken breat

    water : 3 litres
    exercise: 30 min walk

    Alpa,
    the chicken I ate was chicken curry, only little oil and no other fat like coconut milk,cream etc.

    thank you for your words. I would suggest that you go to a clinical nutritionist take your doctor's report as well with you and tell her what you are suffering from, the nutritionist will be able to guide you more, also go to this link Gout Relief Today i can understand your pain you need to be patient with yourself, first start to think positive, remove all the negative thoughts from your mind, you will get well and you have to get well,so too need to work with us, as i said go to a nutritionist or your doctor who can guide you better and take it from there, take one step at a time, you will take time to recover so you need to patient with yourself, do not go on blaming yourself and yes you will get better, so you have to take the first step.
    1. Go to the doctor talk to him ask him to guide you to a good clinical nutritionist who will be able to make good diet plans for you.
    2. you have to fight this yourself we are all with you but you need to be the leader here
    3.Go through all the links i have sent you and see if it can help you and start taking the guidelines from there and include it in your day to day life.
    Here a big big hug to you, do not be sad, sometimes people do not understand the pain we are going through.

    Dear Anees,

    its ok do not be too hard on yourself, you are doing good and your diet is good as well. Do not get stressed, stress will not help you. You chicken curry is good as long as it was not fattening.
    Let me tell you something from last december till february this year i was going through a lot and i mean a lot emotional stress and it took a toll on my health, i lost a lot of weight and also my skin colour had become dark, so stress will not help you. Be positive and happy.

    HI ALPA, ilites,

    here's my diet for 02.04.2010:
    6.00 am hot water with methi seeds
    6.15 1/2 cup coffee without sugar
    8.00 1 cup poha and 1 cup tea without sugar
    10.30 1 cup coriander herbal tea without sugar
    1.30pm 1 chapati with bitter gourd curry, sprouts slightly boiled, salad of cucumber tomato and onion, 2 tsp curds
    4.30 1 cup tea
    5.30 few peanuts
    7.30 1 glass cool drink
    8.15 1/2 apple, 2 oranges 2 tsp rice with tomato curry

    Thanx for your suggestions........i have already gone to the doctor....joint & bone specialist.....he injected me twice in my heels & said this is the last option........but no relief insted my pain goes on increasing......

    i will definitely read the links in detail & try to follow ...may be they will help me..

    HELLO DEEPTI AND ALPHA,
    YEAH IAM CONTINUING WITH DIETING........BUT DIDNT GET TIM FO R EXERCISE NW HAV TO RUSH TO SCHOOL AT 7AM....SO GETTING SO EARLY...MY DIETICIAN TOLD ME TO TAKE FLAXSEEDS WITH SALAD OR SPROUTS IN MID-DAY MEAL AND HAV TO TAK 2 EXTRA GLASS OF WATER WITH IT.. IT COMES IN CARTON OF 30 SACHET POWDER TYPE... HAV TO FINISH HALF SACHET A DAY.....VERY BAD IN TASTE...I CN'T TAK IT WITH SALAD OR SPROUTS SO TAKING IT WITH 2 GLASSES OF WATER.......NO EFFECTS AS OF KNW......IF U WANT TO KNW ABT ITS COMPANY N ALL I VILL LET U KNW........ SHE WAS TELLING WE CAN TAK IT ANY TIM IN A DAY JUST HAV TO DRINK 2 ADDITIONAL GLASS OF WATER WITH IT.
