Weight Loss Buddies from 2012

    Hi anitha,
    Even I felt the same when I start to do exercises like cardio.
    Its because there more fat stored so it started to burn thats why it causes pain at initial stages...

    And If U observe there will be a very little difference in our hands also..

    For me my right hand will be a little fat that my left.. So if we do hands exercises U feel more pain for the one which is a little fat than the other..
    So Take it easy.. :)

    i will reply to your questions..
    1. Do you want to lose weight? yes.. of course i want to lose wt.
    2. Will you be patient? as weight loss does not happen in a day or a week or a month it can even take a year.- yes alpa.. i will try to be patient..
    3. Are you willing to be committed and work hard- yes iam with full determination.
    4. Are you able to join a aerobics class?- no i cannot join aerobic classes since iam working from 10 to 7 and i have to take care of my kid. but if some videos or links available, i will try to do it at home.
    5. if you cannot join the above can you start walking - brisk walking then gradually start 1mins walk, 1 min jog you will be able to build our stamina and lose weight. - yes i will walk..what is LS walk? can u pls elaborate and give me some links pls.
    6. will you be able to post here everyday or every 2days.- yes i will post here once in 2 days..

    thanks for giving me positive vibes and hereafter i will stop complaining and try to be PROACTIVE..

    my yesterday diet:
    green tea, tea
    2 idli
    tea
    2 chapathi, beans
    tea , 2 biscuits
    banana
    1 chapathi, carrot, tomato soup

    My updates for the past 2 days:
    aug 15:

    sunflower seeds,oatmeal with milk,banana
    apple,red kidney beans
    half oothappam,2 table spoon brown rice,sambar,veg
    papaya

    snack- evening I slipped from my diet today. We had guest at home and I felt very tired and low energetic all day through today.
    white rice,(3 tbls ), veg , ice cream,onion rings
    dinner- 1 oothappam, curd rice,sambar

    excercise: mor- suryanamaskar
    eve- 45 min jazz workout ( efficiently done for only 20 min. I just want to move my body, since I ate a lot, but I feel like sleeping, even during my workout)

    aug 16:

    got the lost energy after 8 hrs of sleep. also got 1 pound increment.
    mor- almonds,red kidney beans,papaya
    snack-apple, peanut butter ( this combination was ultimate.first time tried apple with peanut butter)
    lunch- salad,pasta- 2 tblspoon,2 teaspoon oatmeal with veg koottu and rasam
    yogurt
    drank green tea all day through.
    eve snack-sundal-channa, tea with milk ( once I used to have very heavy snack in the evening almost every day.gradually changed the habit and for the past two days I hit the same habit again and today I overcome this. hopefully, with my consciousness, I will be getting rid of it soon.)
    dinner- apple,veg soup.

    exercise: mor- no exercise , since I sleep for full 8 hrs after long time.
    eve- suryanamaskar,upperbody workouts with weights.
    floor workout- lower body

    I got with wheezing and asthma attack for the past 4 days. I thought it will improve. does not seem so. so, going a bit easy on my cardios. slowly taking the steps and keeping my body moving. With all my satisfaction, I ended my day for today.

    @ IG,
    aug starting- I was 130.2 pounds.
    2 days before I was 129.8 pounds.
    today, I am 131 pounds (due to my emotional evening food. I am happy that I overcome this addiction by drinking a cup of masala tea with some sundal immediately when I returned home. I felt full until dinner. )

    In the oncoming 2 weeks, I will try to reach 129 pounds. 1 pound a week. I am helping myself in what ever way I could do it.

    Friends, any suggestion or idea from your side that I could implement?

    Yes Alpa am distracting myself and have started working out from yesterday.

    Did LS 1 mile in the night and planning to do that to begin with.

    Thanks for the suggestion will incorporate that

    i do exercises for 15 mtns a day.. iam not that much active.. I work in IT industry in front of computers for 8 hrs..

    your diet is great, include fruits and protiens, have water. Slowly start taking in fruits it will really help you.

    thank you for your response. Your health is your wealth so to improve your health you need to work on it, start taking baby steps and you will reach your goal. I will ask the IL's to post the link for leslie walk here and PM me your email add i will send you some exercises you can do at home as i do not know how to make the attachement here as it takes time and is not being accepted.

    Wow... Great yaar... Congrats... I gained some 10-11 kgs and maintaining those weight even after delivery...my parents fed me more saying that u have to feed baby :(. So gained those baby weight also in 3 mnths postpartum.now I'm just 2 kgs less that per pregnancy... How did u manage to lose that 29 kg? How old is Ur baby now?
