    wowoww lovely idea and your garden is also superb....

    Lst time I bought some soil for my potted plants dont remember what soil it was, but it had earthworms in it..the other day i was clearing out all the old soil in the pots so that i can put new soil and i saw big long earthworms...so let them as it is without throwing away...hope to use them this year...but seems like we are getting readymade compost also lately in stores...here

    I have been composting for the past 3 years, initially i found it a great chore now it is natural to me even kids do it.
    we compost veg peelings, cardboard, newspaper,(not the glossy sheets) anything that is not cooked and no meat
    I started with a few large old paint pots with holes in the bottom, now i have a big compost container made out of old fence.

    It is a great way to condition your soil

    hi friends,
    this threa is really good. i also have a small garden in my house.iam throwing organic waste into the soil . it is really surprising that hibiscus flower plant is growing in pots. i shall try papaya too soon in my terrace.
    good ideas.
