    Hi ladies..

    here so many kitchen queens making their lives healthy and easily with their small tricks. so pls ladies pls drop ur kitchen tips to in this thread..

    Here i'm starting with my turn..

    Tip:1. Wash mashrooms with soda salt water gently, which dont vanish vitamins.
    2. When ur food became more salty: Make small wheat flour balls(like roti dough) in goli size 2 to 3 without salt, put in that curry boil for few mins.

    Hope this helpful to u queens.. So. pls drop ur tips and tricks and save us:drowning

    Thank you Rachaputi for starting this tips thread.
    1. Apply sesame oil while cutting raw plantain(Vazhai kai) and plantian-flower(Vazhai poo) which prevents your fingers becoming black.
    2. excess salt can be reduced by adding raw potato into boiling curry or gravy and let it boil for few mins. switch off and cover the curry for few mins.

    Need clarification
    Can anyone tell me how to adjust sambar or any kulambu if it becomes sour when tamarind used in excess? Last week I prepared sambar and it taste soooooo sour at last I wasted it. I hate wasting food. Any suggestion please. Thanks in advance :)

    Well i dont know how to reduce that sour taste, but as of my knowledge can reduce with using jaggery and give good taste. For some items usually need to use tamarind more than normal, jaggery dominates that sour taste and give good output. Ofcourse i know i didn't solve ur prob ;-) anyway

    Hi Bhuvisrini,

    if sour taste is more, add some more water and add another spoon of sambhar powder if necessary.. check again on salt too.. if sambhar becomes watery mix water with rice flour or corn flour to make it thick.. adding jaggery finally will give a good taste for vathakuzhambu and pulikuzhambu.. just my idea..

    Health Tip: For periods pain: Take coconut water with Glucose, coconut water for best results, u can take glucose with water too..

    Really really it works too good and instant remedy than tabs. U must try it.

    forgot to add one thing in my previous tip that u should not take complete glass at a time, take one glass 4 times with each ten mins gap
