Tips for cleaning Microwaves

Hello Fiona,

Even when we wrap/cover with paper towel/cling wrap etc, when we take out the dish out of the microwave...spills do happen and that is where cleaning comes in.

Whenever I boil milk in microwave, I do not cover it...

Probably, other IL'ites can share as to how they microwave different items.

So, even when we take adequate care, and irrespective of whether it is dirty or not, we should definitely clean the microwave regularly.

Don't you clean your microwave at all?

of couuse I do clean my microwave but it is never a mess .I spray a disinfectant and wipe it off with tissue .

 

This is what everybody is sharing here...how to clean the microwave...and now you have shared yours.

Being a mess or not, depends on what exactly you are using the microwave for !

This is exactly what I do. When I open the door, the fresh smell of lemon greets me.
