The Sugar Craving Challenge

    And friends, try the chewing-and-spitting-out sweets trick with caution. I think someone suggested it here..What it does is trick the stomach into believing that there is food, thus triggering saliva and kicking in stomach acids as the stomach anticipates the food that never arrives..It can potentially lead to ulcers, weight gain, or even dental problems.

    Day 2: No sugar in beverages, but snatched a couple of bites from my toddler's chocolate bar... ;)

    Dear Mishal,

    Even green tea does have good amount of caffeine. Hence moderation is the key. Not more than two cups is advisable for lactating mothers.

    never skip your breakfast(golden rule)

    i stopped sleeping during day time.

    As i said in one post, fool your stomach and satisfy your taste buds by chewing a mouth ful of halwa,ladoo,or anysweet and spit it out.

    change from normal sugar to brown sugar

    substitute your regular oil with olive oil.

    eat plenty of salads, cut down the intake of rice to only once a week.

    make oats ur best friend.

    Eat almonds and walnuts

    I wanted to share my weightloss experiments to all ILs who are desperate to shed weight..............
    I want to make it clear to all the
    IL friends that i meant ,do chewing the sweet and spitting it out once in a while only and pls don't chew it like chewing gum on a daily basis and spit it out...........:)
    omg,do i need to explain this?

    Whoa lady! Calm down. No mudslinging to spoil the cheerful mood of this great thread, ok? :)

    I'm glad you put in a warning to do it in moderation.

    Chewing and spitting sweets can easily become a habit, especially for the sugar craving folks who frequent this thread. So I had to write down what I had read about, the same way you felt like sharing how it worked for you.

    And nobody has to take your word or mine. They can easily google "chewing and spitting" and decide for themselves!!

    today also i prepared some sweet...i tasted very little....he he...diwali is coming, everywhere party..ho... dont know how to follow my NSD...instead of taking more ll try to have little...how is it cool? is it ok?????
