Completed the challenge on Sunday. Much of the routine especially the IF and the water intake have become habits. Can’t say that about the workouts. The 90-minute workouts never became easy. I ended some days with a walk only to wake up next morning to take another walk. There was a persistent feeling of being depleted like a battery on half charge. Only the thought of starting again kept me going. It was unsustainable and I am beyond glad it’s done. Reading was effortless and meditation helped with everything. Though I wasn’t aiming for it I did lose weight. Had gained ~8lbs over the pandemic and lost it all over the past 3 months.

I am going to continue with a more manageable set of goals. Eliminating the progress pic and reading requirement. Don’t need a challenge to read. Hoping to turn this into a lasting lifestyle change.
    • 3L water
    • 15 mins of meditation
    • 50 minutes of workout (focus on strength training and yoga)
    • 18:6 IF, Low carb

Wonderful @Gauri03! This calls for a celebration :banana::banana::cheer::cheer:
I haven’t even started the challenge this year because of how hard it gets mid way through. Kudos to you for completing this during a busy time for you. You are an inspiration for sure.

I wanted to post about restarting today. While I managed well the last couple of weeks, I kind of enjoyed the challenge. So I am back with a modified challenge as well and glad to see @Gauri03 continuing too!

    Here's my modified goal -

    Sun Salutations –
    Drink 1L of water -
    Read 10 mins a day -
Follow a diet – IF 16 hrs or more.
    Chant for 10 mins/day

Intersetingly working out is not a problem for me even two workouts, but doing sun salutations everyday is! Reading is not a problem but reading something that is not work related is! Water, I reduced to one litre considering the winter months ahead of us though I might continue to do 2. I love following IF and could use continued motivation to keep up for health reasons and I love chanting (even if in all apasvaras) too much to drop that!

    Sun Salutations – done
Drink 1L of water - done
Read 10 pages a day - done, Maximum City
    Follow a diet – IF > 18 hrs
    Chant for 10 mins/day >10 mins

Thank you @Laks09 and @Srama ! I cannot emphasize enough how much the support on this thread mattered over the past three months.

Super excited to have you back, Sabitha! : ) Maximum City is such a good book. Hope you enjoy it!

Thinking out loud - Let’s drop the restarting requirement. It is needlessly stringent. One off day doesn’t mean all previous progress gets erased. So long as we do a total of 75 days the challenge should be considered complete. After all long term consistency is far more important than a rest day or five in between.

@Laks09 Could you edit my OP and change line 4 to ‘Do the following for a total of 75 days’ and delete line 12 (The one about starting again from day 1). Thank you!
