Was feeling very resistant to stepping on the mat today, but by the end of the practice a frayed mind and body were both grateful I made time for it.

And with that ladies, I am done with my 75 days . I am quite happy, I have to confess. It worked out real well. When I started, I was not aware of our school start date and guess what, today was my last day with the challenege and first day of school! Relieved.

A lot of lessons learnt through the challenge. First of all, I realized how stubborn I am. Two, I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family who put up with the craziness and indulged me through regular days and vacations, I couldn't have done it with out the support of all of you here - I felt accountable and appreciated and finally, thankful to a friend who never failed to show up for a walk during the weekdays. More importantly, this challenge has impacted my health in such a positive way that my doctor is baffled! I am truly grateful for that. It has taught me valuable lessons on food, how we eat, what we need. My IF has actually turned into one meal per day, and I miss nothing. Now drinking two liters of water is a breeze. I realized how much I love chanting and the number of sholkas I am learning, well let’s just say that I am enjoying it so much. I think of my grandmother so much more – I understand her disciplined way of living better and finally get it when she used to urge that I start paying attention to what I eat.

I hope to continue with the challenege as I move forward. I absolutely have begun enjoying one meal days - I hope I will be able to continue that. I am also impressed that I have read 3 to 4 books, thanks to the challenge. If you ask me what I would drop, progress photo is the one ;-) That was a real challenge!

I look forward to living this life style and hopefully will continue posting updates. Will certainly be here to cheer for all of you.
