Successfully Lost weight and belly fat- post pregnancy

    Hi All

    I have been able to lose my pregnancy gained weight as well as lost belly flab post delivery. Though I have to still work on toning myself up. My present weight is 114 lbs- 51.7 kg which I plan to bring down max by 1 kg. For this I cant thank Alpa who guided me in Weight Loss buddy thread in and out. Thanks Alpa for helping me in getting back to my pre pregnancy shape. DH is soo proud of me:thumbsup

    My starting weight was 56kgs and at present I am at 51.7kg.

    Some tips I followed( mostly suggested by Alpa) thought would be of use:

    1. Drinking warm water- 2 litres a day. Morning drinking warm water with lemon and honey.
    2.Having a bowl of papaya at night helps in reducing weight
    3. Dinner only soup/salad/ bowl of fruits- I made my dinner more interesting and enjoyed it like I would choose a vegetable and then make salad and soup using that as the main. Like mushroom soup and salad. I used to google/ blog on interesting recipes for salads/ soups. I enjoyed my diet:)

    Note: I did go off track once in a while but compensated next day!

    For tummy flab

    1. I do this ab workout everyday YouTube - 6 pack Abs | Flat stomach | with Dr. Tim Ramirez

    2. I have started doing kapalbhati pranayam from past two days

    3. Gym- Cross trainer / treadmill- 30 mins

    4. I carry all the grocery/ shopping bags to the apartment using stairs. I stay at first floor, no matter how many rounds it takes as this is an added excersice.

    loosing weight is somewhat a great achievement. Lots of mental determination. You are having that. Keep going.

    My dearest Himaani,

    congrats on loosing weight, you were so focused and determined, keep it up, i am so proud of you. All i did was just share my knowledge with you all and did the hard work.

    It would be good if you could share some of the recipes you used or links on the weight loss buddy so it would help us all and we could make our dinner interesting.

    You achieved your goal because you were so determined and focused and you never gave up.

    Iam also in the weight reduction program,i gained weight after my delivery-on my tummy, thighs and back.can you suggest me how to reduce on my thighs and back...
