    I am on day 4 today..so far so good...yesterday I weighed myself and saw that I had lost 2 pounds already...but that could be fluctuations...im waiting for the two week results.

    i'm not very sure but think sabudana is considered carb.

    i am on day 10 today. d going has been pretty smooth...no with drawls or headaches.
    i strictly followed d no carb...starch....sugar...fruit regime. took tea n coffee in moderate proportions. a glass of milk n 2 bowls of yogurt

    weighed myself today n am down by a1 1/2 kg. its not a big shift on d scales but am feelg lighter in mind n body n more energetic.....
    so am not loosing heart n am on diet fullto.

    i didnt even do much of spl. cooking... only wat my servant was cooking n lots of proteins.
    i cud hv had 2--3 kinds of protein for lunch n dinner..........i wonder if dat is d cause for d slow weight loss but wud like to go slow n steady............

    preets n neets come on gurls wud love to hear frm u...
    by the way i read ystrday dat social support is a gr8 boost for n in losing weight.....

    well hang in thr gurls, u hv nuthg to lose but ur flab !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :biglaugh:biglaugh

    hi ladies today is my last day in phase 1 and i lost 6 lbs,i was expecting more but i had a sinful indulgence on a weekend (an ice cream).

    but i am happy the way i lost 6 lbs on two weeks.i am starting with phase 2 from tmrw.i have to lose 28 pounds,will be continuing till i reach target.its said in phase 2 i can expect only 1 or 2 lb a week.i plan to join my gym too for moderate cardio excercise.

    Neets & Nita...thats really great achivement dear....

    I should be hammered for this...I indulged in everything possible over the weekend...my frens threw me a surprise birthday party which took me completely off my diet...v v v bad...so honestly I am not expecting good results...but will try to continue with no carb no sugar as long as I can to see some weight loss...

    wil keep you posted...

    Belated Happy Birthday Wishes!!i know its impossible to resist a suprise party like that :) i think you can start over phase 1 again ,or take an extra week on phase 1.

    There is not much difference on phase 2 and i dont know how to rectify it.any tips from regarding success in phase2. i added brown rice back to my diet ,and my diet is going on fine,except that i dont see any difference in weight losss!!! anyone out there to tell what could be wrong??

    I was in it after Lo's birth. I was down from 168 to 142 in almost 6 months:) I was following phase two diet plan as I was bfing chinnu. It perfectly worked for me. Then I got tired of dieting and i am still stuck at 142; which is the border weight for my height.
    .
    Maybe I will restart my phase 2 again..

    My husband is on South beach diet.He lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks.He followed it strictly.I dint plan to diet but just reduced my intake of rice to 5 tablespoons/meal and I lost 4 lbs in the first week.
    we pretty much ate only eggs,chicken,canadian bacon,salad,spinach/eggplant/cauliflower/asparagus,
    celerly,laughing cow cheese,fat free milk,
    decaff coffee,jello(sugar free).

    I think this diet works without starvation .However meat intake will slightly increase the cholestrol levels so should watch the intake after 2 weeks.

    hi janavi welcome to the group....yes that's the beauty of the diet,never hungry!
    This is what i found out about phase2:

    carbs starch and fruits are added back into the diet and it should be added GRADUALLY.
    Be Careful about the amount while adding back starches.
    Keep observing as to what food you take and the amount to keep losing weight.
    cutback if you find your weight increasing or stagnant.
    eat as to keep losing weight.
    Every one's body is different so keep tracking what foods can make weight gain and what not.

    I am also into this diet for the past 5 days ,so far so good:thumbsup.i had head ache for 2 days ,now iam absolutely normal.i didnt check the weight but i do feel light.my target is to reduce 30 pounds.iam happy to join u all,it is always nice to have a support group.:cheers
