to add few more tips from my side

The kitchen dias should be little slanting in suchaway that if we wash the water goes to the sink, instead it falls down and gives double work and makes the place nasty..

Windows should not be kept near the stove in the kitchen, the window becomes more oily and sticky and becomes very difficult to maintain, so tiles should be there in that place....

 

Some may like to have traditional swing (oonjal in tamil).For this we need to fix the hook while we do the ceiling work itself to hold it strong.those who want to have should inform the builder before.

 

If you are not installing a chimney above your gas stove get ceramic tiles fixed on the ceiling above. very easy to clean.

hi friends,
here from my experience...
put grill in balcony to avoid future accidents..(from my experience)
put a outer lock(thalpal in tamil) in all doors. if the key lock repaired v shall use this.zingy ur idea for shelf above bathroom is good. (all my things dumped there itself). if v ve good ventilation low ceiling wont affect.
check for well ventilation in restrooms.. also space(specifically in flats)
keep an switch near bed (two way) for light and fan.
keep tv switches a little heighter if u ve kids at home..
i think steel sink is better than kudappa.
thats all upto now...

I suggest to use the best construction material . If chosen right and the best than the expense done on the home construction will be once and forever.
It is essential to have a good design for construction the home When taken suggestions from a professional the home designer plans than the help is foolproof and reliable.

Please think if ventilators above windows are needed or not, will you use it or not. If not, do not get it.
