Replace Home furnishings

I change and wash sheets and towels once a week .
Since most curtains are cotton ones and white and off white I wash them once in two months. The more delicate ones go for dry cleaning.Wash all washable rugs twice a year. Smaller floor mats get washed once in 10-15 days in the washing machine.

 

I wash the bedspread and sheets once in a week (Sunday). Wash basin towels 2 days once.

Curtains monthly once only

 

bed spreads - once a week, replace new once every halfyearly
drapes - once in two months, replace new once every year
sofa/cushion covers - once in a month (if detachable covers), replace new once every year (sofa covers) new by halfyearly (cushion covers)
rugs - once in three months (if washable) hold till it lasts & replace new once become old.

Do dry cleanings wherever possible.
Whites can lost shorter time than the dark coloured ones.
Always have a replacement backup set for all the above.

Try to have one good furnishing consultant who stitches all these, who can service you for long. If you require, I could suggest as currently i dont have. I have to get it from my mother. Thanks.
