How do you all remove the sticky labels which are stuck to jam/pickle bottles ? I usually soak in warm water for some hours ; still only some of the label comes out , even after scratching / rubbing with metal brush, some patches do not come off !! :bangcomp:
And by chance if all the paper comes off, the gum remains as grey , ugly streaks ... -- any ideas please to solve this problem ?
