In my house i clean the cookware (we are not living in India, so no house help), cut and clean veggies and my wife does the actual cooking. One item that is a constant source of irritation for me atleast is the pressure cooker. We have Hawkins one, its 5 litres (we actually need only 3 liter because we are 3 people, I wifey and 5yo kiddo) and cleaning its inner folded edge of the cooker pan is a punishment.

It gets heavy in the sink due to water and I have to clean the top inner edge of the pan again and again to get any stuck food particles out. I can not use hot water jet to clean it. I can not put it in dishwasher because again jet of water will not reach in the inner flipped edge. The worst offender is Daal which dries up on that exact location. I can not even soak it with soap water because water will not reach there. Also the feeling of knowing that inside of the pan may be dirty makes me almost puke.

So I found this new cooker, Prestige Clip On one () . It looks better because of its design as its pots inner surface if fully exposed for easy cleaning. Its like a pan with pressure cooker lid to be clipped on. I like it. But wifey is not convinced yet.

Has anyone any experience with Prestige Clip On models?
    How good they perform?
    How safe they are?
    Are there any known defects?
