My Vegetable garden - 2009

Its great to see your garden. In the UK it is so difficult to grow any of the veg we use the most because of the unpredictable weather.

Come on ...you are an expert gardener:thumbsup you say its easiest to grow..theother day I have planted both the white and red gongoora varities and seems like only one of them have sprouted dont know which variety is it...but I see that the stem is red on one side...and the leaf tips are also maroon here n there...

So do I have to sow the white variety again??:bonk:bonk

and are 10 plants enough to get gongoora? how many did you plant? I have limited space so I was planting all of them in one big rectangular pot.

 

Yeah I will space them out...but just waiting for them to be a bit taller so that I can replant them.....I also want to see which variety is it...red or white

I just need some information on plant food...do you put any plant food for veggies??I am growing veggies in pots...I was using miracle grow last year but got lots of flowers and no fruits...so this year wanted to check how to get the veggies I mean how to keep the flower stay and turn into a fruit instead of flower dropping off (which happens due to high nitrogen)..

ARe there any plant foods you suggest?

As of now am using compost, just last week bought some organic vegetables plant food (it has low nitrogen and high phosphorus and potassium its the bone meal)

Please suggest what can be used as plant food for a good yield of vegetables.
