@nuss love your lavender rose. I have one too in my front yard.
The love of rose started young for me. My parent's house had a beautiful rose garden with Red roses. The kind I haven't seen in a long time.

I can't take credit for the roses. I am sure the previous owner of our house also loved gardening. He had planted a beautiful garden- six different varieties of roses (including the climber which is my favorite), lavender, lilac, Fraser photinia along with oaks, blue spruce, pines, and aspen and fruit trees. I just feel lucky to have such a pretty landscape!

    Hi all,
Anyone use grow bag for gardening? What soil and fertilizer do you use?

Lucky you to have a previous owner who loved gardening.
Please share the pics of climbing rose, I would love to see it. I want to re-do my front yard this year and in serious need of ideas.

I use grow bags for cilantro, mint, spinach, tulsi this year.

Last year I had eggplant, tomato, and bell peppers. I used store-bought organic garden soil. It grew well. Not good yield as it's in grow bags.

we have to use potting mix for grow bag right? May I know why u used garden soil. It need nutrients if we are growing in grow bag. Garden soil don’t have enough nutrients to use in pot or grow bag.

@blindpup10 I have only grown jasmine as an annual here because I don’t have space to bring it inside for winter. I put the nursery plant in a larger pot with fresh Miracle-gro potting mix that already has fertilizers in it, and add a handful of kelp meal. They grow and flower reasonably well during the season. There are some branches that will never have buds so I remove those.
For your plant I would try adding some compost and giving it some fish or seaweed fertilizer. Neptune’s Harvest is the one we get here.
I am jealous of the zucchini! We get squash bugs that completely destroy the plant unless I spray chemicals so I have given up. Stuffed and fried zucchini flowers are a real treat.

There could be several reasons. Soil around the plant to be poked and water it optimally. If ants and other insects around the roots that could be Eliminated suitably. For example small or big onion around can be stuffed around. Smell of onion will have the ants gathering away from the roots. If no shoots from onion in a few days, it indicates that soil needs to be changed.
Transplantation in some soil works. This can be tried. There is best season for attempting all this. That to be taken into account.
    Thanks and Regards.
