Dont ever put wet vessels directly into the cabinet/ shelves.. it ll lead to the happy growing place for cockroaches..
In my house wen my mil was there she used to do like tht for sometime and it became a breeding place..
After she left.. we removed all those insects with Godrej guy..

Always after washing, put it in a tray to dry.., then wipe it in a dry cloth and then keep it aside for 5 min to remove the moisture and then put them inside... i am doing this and not even a single cockroach for the past 1.6 years even wen the house was closed for a couple of months,... now feeling safe wid a 9 month old daughter

 

It's worth an effort.I'm doing this from the past few years.
