Lose weight with Hypothyroid and PCOS

    24th sept

    BF : 2 mixed millet dosais + thoothuvalai thokku
    lunch : home made mutton briyani + boiled egg
    evng : 1/2 slice fresh cream cake
    dinner : 3 idli's + red chutney + milk

    water 2 lts
    no workout today bcous of my cold.

    Diet - 24 th sep

    BF - oats
    Lunch - dosa
    Dinner - Adai
    Snack - chenna sundal, 1/2 cake

    Workouts : cardio 1 hr

    Got my periods today. After long time i am getting periods without any medications and that too on time. Feeling happy :)

    All this bcoz of weight loss only. Thanks for all ur support friends. Still 4-5 kgs to reach ideal weight.

    BF - Dosa
    Lunch - ghee rice + payasam
    Dinner - bhel puri
    Snack - samosa


    Diet - 28 th sep

    BF - Dosa
    Lunch - rice + potato curry
    Dinner - fried rice
    snack - boiled peanut

    sorry galz i couldn't update last few days, my workout was gd & my diet was ok.

    sept 29th

    BF : barnyard millet pongal
    MM : sundal
    lunch : rice + curd + mutton pepper fry
    evng : semiya upma + butter milk
    dinner : 4 idlis + mutton gravy

    workouts
    cardio 30 mins
    circuit, strength training with 2kgs D/B

    BF : 2 dosai + onion chutney
    lunch : rice + puli kulambu + egg omlete
    evng : sundal in beach
    dinner : 1/2 plate fried rice

    1st oct
    BF : 2 appam + panner, mutter masala
    lunch : rice + fish curry + fish fry
    dinner : 2 dosai + fish curry.

    no workouts.

    Hello Neethu,

    Do not worry about Bicornuate Uterus.I have Bicornuate uterus and Epilepsy and i delivered baby safely in 2004.Now two more issues added Hypothyroidism(from 8yrs) and PCOS (from 4yrs).I put on weight within notime last year.I want to loose weight before i plan for second child.With constant walking for 4miles for 5days a week and cut on Rice intake,i lost about 17pounds/9kgs from last year.Now i have increased my excercise level to about 6-8miles a day,as my weight reduction rate is very slow which is very common for people with PCOS and hypothyroidism(according to my gynecologist).

    My Current Weight as on 28th Sept 2014 : 183pounds/82kgs
    My Goal Weight : 140pounds/63kgs
    Target date : May 2015
    Workout plan : Rain or shine walk for 6-8 miles a day or 35-40miles per week.And do some stretching excercises/yoga for 10minutes.

    Food : Restricting on all white carbs like Rice,White Bread,Potatoes etc.Using whole wheat bread or rotis with curries,vegetables,fruits,Nuts(to improve my HDL cholestrol).

    I will keep posting about my weigtloss progress,

    hai vaishu, all the best for ur weightloss goal. common gal u can do it.

    my diet was gd for the past three days, but no workouts got my periods. from monday i will start my workout.

    Dinner - dosa
    Snack - puffed rice, banana

    Workouts : 1 hr cardio + 15 mins strength training

    lunch : rice + horsegram rasam + karamani usli
    dinner : 2 chapathi + boiled egg
    water 2 lts

    workout
    treadmill uphill & down 15 mins
    EFX 15 mins
    cycling P1 15 mins
    abs excercise with D/B & ball 25 mins

    7th oct
    BF : 3 idli + sambar
    MM : cucumber with mint juice
    lunch : rice + sambar + banana flower usli
    evng : 4 banana flower vadai
    dinner : 2 chapathi + butter bean & potato curry.
    water 2 lts

    workout
    cardio 30 mins

    i had milk daily. ate small cup cakes, 1 small murukku , fruits here & there.
