living room furniture - leather or fabric sofas for india

hi all, planning to buy sofa for my new flat...in India ,so want to decide on to buy leather or fabric sofa. which one is comfortable for the warm weather? any thoughts??

Fabric...although leather sofa is really classy. yet i feel natural fabric that could be recycled and eco friendly works best for us who wishes to leave less carbon footprints for our next gen. However this is really a matter of taste and personal, hence we can wish good luck with your home decor spree...be happy!

For warm places like Chennai, , fabric sofas are better.( We had leather sofas in NE India and we left them now at Chennai, where they say, it is uncomfortable in summer ( though they had covered the seat and back in fabric )

I love to be eco friendly.. and I was thinking about what Bhargavi said about the climate related comfort so I am more inclined towards fabric sofa

For religious belief, not comfortable sitting on leather sofa (as well on car seat). Also, I have seen patches of colour faded over time on leather sofa (worn out).
