leather sectional sofa opinions and inputs

Hi ladies

Im looking fora leather sectional for our family room. This sofa will be used maximum as we would spend our time in fam room, also the kids. I've heard different things about leather being very cold in winters and sticky and warm in summers. Is this true? I would b ordering a very big sectional and would not b changing for a long time. any inputs or tips r welcome!
