How to maintain cotton-silk saree?

    Hello ladies! I wonder how to wash and dry a silk-cotton double shade saree at home. I'm abroad, and I don't want to give my saree to a local dry clearning, cause they can damage it...

    i have never opted for dry cleaning

    till date i soak them in a mild detergent(not the regular ones) for less than an hour, rinse and dry in shade..


    things are working perfect for me :thumbsup

    hi
    i wash my sarees (even my wedding saree) in mild shampoo.i soak for half an hour and dry it in shade
