How to increase the weight?

    Hi all,

    1.Not all bananas will add weight,have you heard about Kerala bananas,the big ones(Its english name is cavendish I guess),that will help to add weight.See the picture below

    This one you have to take daily




    2.Have rice atlease for 2 times a day with vegetables

    3.Have milk before going to bed

    4.Have ice creams and cakes

    5.Have ghee daily

    6.Sleep for 8Hrs(Sleeping more than 8Hrs will reduce weight)

    7.Have food at correct times

    8.Have nuts like grounut

    9.Have snacks inbetween meals.

    10.Have curd daily

    I gained 10Kgs in 8 months(I never wished for weightloss,I was perfect before that).This was the diet that I followed during those days.You can also give a try.

    I even heard of Cake diet which will increase weight,try that one as the last options.

    All those 10 points will work only if one thing is perfect,your mind.

    Dont get tensed about anything(not even about adding weight),be cool always.Even if somebody points and tells you that you are lean answer that I am happy with this.Beleive that you can make it.

    NB:Above are high fatty foods so check your weight in every month so that it should not go beyond your required BMI

    Hi to all who want to gain weight....

    I also belong to the same group who is trying to put ON atleast 2 kgs as I'm under-weight now.

    Staying slim is no harm if you are healthy & until you dont fall ill often.
    Under-weight has really got to be looked into.
    If there are no thyroid problems, then please read my thoughts on this:

    I have seen that the times when I gained weight a few years back, was when I had less stress on mind. So, its not the diet alone that can increase one's weight. Its just one of the factor. Change in lifestyle & mind-set, attitude, doing things that you like to do, staying active at mind & soul, & things of these sort will certainly give a good result....

    Having a cup of green gram or chenna sprout in the morning helps u to gain weight.. I gained nearly 6Kgs.. But i've weight fluctuation b/n 47-52 and am 5.3' and i guess my weight shud be around 55kgs.. Also my wrist part is always thin how muchever i gain.. I need some suggestions to maintain constant weight..

    Start eating black raisins, unless you have a lean body structure you should put on weight by this. I was surprised to see this mail normally ladies are trying theri best to reduce weight, Y'day i was surfing to see how to gain weight for my kids. so there was so many ways out of which i picked up this since i have personal experince of gaining weight after having dried rasins. Also you can have milk with honey. I am going to try this out for my kids. meanwhile you also try out. Hopefully this is going to work out.

    I have not been able to read earlier replies to this thread.

    But my suggestion to increase weight would be to start strength training. You will have stronger body and muscle mass (dont imagine muscular body builders. Dont worry you wont look like them.. It takes immense hard work of years to get there :D).
    Also your body will look toned.
