Get in Shape 2010!

    Hi,

    I haven't posted my GIS goal so far. I would like to do it now.
    Very sorry for posting my goals this late. But, better late than never.

    My BMI - 27.28
    Health age - 67

    I was maintaining my BMI very well till my pregnancy. Now after baby birth almost 9 months now, im not yet back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Its right time and right opportunity to take steps to get the normal BMI back.

    :thumbsup I dont want to be on diet but i want to eat healthy food and avoid junks.
    :thumbsup Also I drink max 4 glasses of water/day. I would like to make a point to drink at least 6 glasses of water daily.
    :thumbsup I was doing yoga regularly before for abt 7-8 yrs. I want to continue the same from this 2010.
    :thumbsup I believe reducing 2 lb of weight would be a good target for me for this month.

    Thanks to the whole lot of ILs out here. This thread encourages me (& my family too) to get into good eating habits and some form of exercise for a healthy living.

    Hi All,

    Today is Jan 9th 2010 (US Eastern standard Time)

    Reporting score 33.4
    score for today 2.8

    My food today -

    1) I had 6 glasses of water today
    2) Honey oats with almonds- one cup milk
    3) Lunch - 2 cups of rice (with beans and carrots and lentils) and two spinach rotis, french beans curry
    4) Fruit - cantaloupe, grapes
    5) Excercise - Walking for 20 mins.
    6)Dinner - 2 rotis, cup of curd

    Early morning - a cup of tea , few roasted badam and walnuts.
    Breakfast - a bowl of sprouted beans with onion and tomato, 1 apple
    Lunch: Sambar rice with potato curry and keerai
    snacks : a bowl of fruits and tea
    Dinner : 2 dosa with sambar.
    a piece of cantalope.
    8 glasses of water.

    exercise: 30 mins yoga & 30 mins treadmill

    lunch-veggie mix with wheat tortillia
    dinner-milk and apple
    snacks-crackers
    chickpea salad

    exercise just 10 mins of moderate dance practice not much. :spin
    water=4-5 cups.

    Routine for the day
    30 mins workout
    Breakfast is normal oats with honey/walnuts/dates/sultanas and milk
    Lunch was curd rice with two subjis
    Evening tea with no snacks
    Dinner was Ragi putt with chana+black eyed peas curry+banana

    My score for 10/01/2010 is 2.1
    The reporting10core is 32.9

    I had 6 glasses of water till now
    Had 1 piece puttu with channa curry and sugarless tea at 9:00
    Had mixed veg fried rice with lots of veg, cauliflower manchurian(homemade), chicken lollipop 1(homemade) at 01:00 pm
    Had 1 cup coffee at 5:00 pm
    Had 2 dosas and chilli chutney at 8:00 pm

    No exercises today. :drowning
