I dont know how I missed your post sorry
Yes we are planning okra in a big way. tomorrow i'll post some pictures of how we are preparing bed
I bought seeds from parkseeds. even if i am spending a tiny bit extra i'd rather get good seeds quality.
Then I am going to start seeds indoors and will then move outdoors.

    Will definetly keep you posted.

    Dear AC,

thanks for the detailed explanation.....i will wait a bit till it is a bit warmer here and try to plant in my backyard. I have enough space, except i am unable to clear the mess it is now, with lots of dead leaves etc.

will check about the availability of seeds etc. I have never entered a shop for these things before....will keep my eyes open.
What about tomatoes, how do i grow them in pots!
I tried planting tulips and other flowering plants last term, there are all budding out now, except have to weed a lot....but its too cold for gardening and i don't want to fall sick again. Thats why wanted to try in small pots which i can keep inside near the windows.

    Will keep u posted !

    Dear Sudha
Tomatoes can also be started indoors by seed. They are also ideal for smaller containers. Keep us posted and take care. When its too cold we dont want to step outside.

    Dear AC,
I was looking for kariapatha plant for long time. Even asked my friend in CA if she could send me. But she was busy and completely forgot about it. Now that I came to know about Parkseed (through you), will try to buy it soon

    AC,

Your BIL's veggies look so fresh and tempting. I would love to have a garden in my patio. But this year I may go to India, so the plants cannot be cared for.
