What would you do if you had an extra minute per hour, or an extra day in the week? That is something many busy people like to dream out. February in this leap year presents us with an actual “extra” day. For some reason, I always recall Morarji Desai in the February of leap years. He was born on February 29th 1896. When I learned how to calculate a leap year, I felt bad for quite a while that Morarji Desai got to celebrate his first birthday on the actual date only in 1904! Happy February, Folks! Hope yours is filled with fresh opportunities and fruitful endeavors. .
@Rihana, You taught me something new here. I was under the impression that any year divisible by 4 is a leap year. I never knew the years that are divisible by 100 and not divisible by 400, then, they are not leap years.
Here are years leap and non leap For example, the years 1600, 2000, 2400, and 2800are century leap years since those numbers are evenly divisible by 400, while 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2500, 2600, 2700, 2900, and 3000 are common years despite being evenly divisible by 4. But then which is the very first leap year and secondly that one ending with double zero.
Dear @Rihana, My first nomination is @gamma50g's post "A journey to happiness and self confidence", so beautifully written.
Morarjee ji taught us the importance of urine culture and that is not the reason for my coming here to nominate. I was impressed with every word every statement posted in bold print as response par excellence by my elder sister madam @jayasala in the thread Types Of Teachers God Bless all others excepting me since all others likely to bless me!
