    Hi all,

    No posts in this thread in 2015. I have started doing SN from the past 2 days. Other interested women please join and motivate others. I aim is to become more flexible and feel light. Due to cold weather Im not going to gym now and go for more long walks in the morning and want to do SN in the evening.

    Experts here please suggest some tips for beginners.

    would love to re start in 2015!
    Just did nt find time to squeeze the routine into my schedule...
    where there is a will, there is a way!


    Just my small suggestion...
    Always start with some basic warm up stretches...put some music on...mild ones, that relaxes you...
    long breaths for every move. align exhale and inhale with every step...At one point, if you are doing slow, but strong and intense, with deep breathing... you will feel the burn all through the body and sweat too...
    The longer you breath, the longer you keep your body still in each posture, the more calorie you burn, the more you will feel relaxed at the end...
    finish with 2 mins of resting, by lying flat on the floor.

    All will be really effective, if your eyes are closed at all the times...

    you just inspired me to start again on regular basis. nowadays I do on one day in a week only in a small group setting...Suryanamaskar along with complete yoga routine.

    Thanks Sridevi for dropping in. I started in full josh but again could not do it yesterday and today due to being busy. Will remember your tips of warm up first before starting. Do visit this thread and share your updates.

    Another one,
    I always get much benefit from my group work out classes( cardio and strength training ), if I do atleast 5 sets of SN at home and then take the classes...
    I have sustained energy and do with good level of intensity if I do SN before my workouts...else I feel that I gave only my 50% and energy level is so so :thumbsdown

    Will update here when ever I do either yoga/SN , atlest that will keep me in spirit. Thanks Pman for pulling out the thread.hugsmiley

    New energy in this thread is motivating me to start the SN now. I am recovering from cold and fever. Will start soon. I wish to be consistent.

    Jan 24- 20 sets SN after a long break...
    Jan 25- started the day with just 5 sets... rest will do in my evening yoga class...today planning to stick mostly with warm up, SN, and lots of stretches, breathing and meditation...will keep updated...
