    Hi Kanaka,

It's convenient to have cut veggies, I too do that sometimes. But cut veggies lose nutrition and washing cut veggies again will also lose nutrition, finally leaving the vegetable after cooking with hardly any nutrition.

    You lucky people:)

Here too ,we can buy veggies in bulk from the farm produce shops. But then, we have to cut ourselves! Ofcourse, there is a galore of frozen veggies, but they seem to have lost their taste in the process. Some stores do carry cut fruit and pumpkin and some veggies, for double or treble the price. Anyways, not complaining...just airing my thoughts:)

I cut veg while i cook. my cooking time is usually 30 max 40 mins. so while i have to cooker going and boiling something i cut veg side by side.
for sambhar onions- i use white pearl onions from the freezer section. it comes out exactly like the other kind but no peeling.
    regards

    Hi,

Surya Greens too store cut vegetables. But it is nice that a lady is doing it and we could support her. But I have to check out whether she will deliver it in my place. We are a bit far from Mambalam. We are in Tambaram.

I feel that cut veggies loose their nutrition only if you store them for a long time. But if you use it in a day or two I dont think you loose that much. Any nutritionist? pls clarify.

Thanks have noted that lady's number.
