    Hi,
I have hardwood floors and tiles in my home. Now i use regular broom and dust pan to clean the floors, but it gets hectic to do it everyday, with kids spilling food/snacks every meal.

Which electric broom or sweeper/vacuum is better for cleaning bread crumbs, cheerios, dust and hair from floors without scratching the floors?

I do mop it once in a while. so need some ideas for everyday cleaning.

    Thanks
    Priya.

    Hi,
I use our indian broom for sweeping. This works out easy and good for me.
I mop it twice a week. But daily for kitchen.

I vacuum the floor first. i have oreck and it has a nice attachment for hardwood floors.

    Hi Punita
Can u tell where did u get indian style broom in US?I also find it more comfortable than the upright brooms avaliabe here.I would also like get one. I think they are much better and faster and convienient. And also how do u guys mop the floor?Actually present apartment has carpet so i just vaccum it,but we r moving to new house this weekend and that one has no carpet.
Do u mop with the spongy or the one with some cloth kind of attachment mops avaliable here, then how to sqeeze water from it.Plz dont mind my silly question:tongue.

    Hi priti,
YOu will get Indian style broom in any Indian grocery shops.
For mopping, I do very much Indian style like taking water in a bucket and using bounty paper towels for mopping the floor.
