"Before you marry a person you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet to see who they really are." —Will Ferrell It may sound funny to read the above quote but it is so true. Marriage is about a willingness to work through difficulties together. It requires commitment and an acknowledgement that neither is perfect. More than perfection one needs to understand that happiness and fulfillment are found through the ability to embrace imperfections. The Winner of the Finest Post Award is @hrastro for her response: Question For Ladies In Happy Marriage HR’s beautiful response reminds us that marriage is a continuous journey of growth and learning, of according each other grace, and persevering. The narration so warmly describes the inevitability, destiny, joys and celebrations of marriage. Acknowledging that neither is perfect and that they both are a work in progress makes the writing very relatable. I just have to quote some parts of the winning post: Today, if you ask me - are you in a happy marriage - I would say "Yes, undoubtedly, deliriously happy" ... Romance is still a part of our everyday lives - more so than the initial years of parenting ... But is he my Mr. Right? Well, neither am I his Mrs Right! Hahaha we both are still work-in-progress !! Congratulations, HR! Your other nominated post this month is also a winner in itself. Thank you @iyerviji and @Laks09 for the nominations. Thank you all for the Likes and comments.
I have been out of touch with Indian cricket for a while now. Only when I read in Viswa’s Chennai Diaries thread did I realize MS Dhoni is still playing. Though out of touch with cricket, I still recall some commentaries on the radio and some written accounts in the newspapers the next day. They often said, Gavaskar or Kapil Dev or someone else carried the innings on his shoulders. Our dearest Viji @iyerviji carried the May nominations innings with aplomb. Eighty percent of the nominations were from my Viji Jaan. Thank you so much. Truly and deeply appreciated.
Congratulations @hrastro for winning the best for the month of May 2023. Reading her responses is always a pleasure and this one is filled with practical knowledge with spiritual wisdom. Thanks to @Laks09 and @iyerviji for nominating this post. A great choice @Rihana as I was anxiously watching for this thread as there were not too many nominations. Viji Akka did a perfect job of finding the gems. She deserves your second post.
This thread reminds me if the thread I had written May be we are different from each other ,but we complete each other. For which I.got award
