Does anyone have it and using it?

For eg: if you make pakoras,French fries does it give the same taste when you try in oil?

    Is it worth buying it..

If you are very health conscious and can have any taste food,u can buy it. There is difference in oil fried and air fried. Crispness won’t b same. I use air fryer for making French fries, kale fries, broccoli fries, okra, bitter gourd fry. If you need crispy, u need to sprinkle or spray more oil. I use air fryer often.

Does it have plastic parts that heat up? Do you worry anything about cooking in them? I want to get one, but not sure if there are any cons to it.

Air fried food items Taste needs getting used to it . The fact that i can eat for example 20 fries instead of 10 just because it has no oil and only potatoes with salt and pepper is the biggest USP for me. or air fried samosa kachori hash browns etc without oil or 1-2 tbsps is liberating because i am also trying to lose weight but then i am a foodie at heart :)

I observe that in the media section I see at least one dish in a couple of days from @kveena cooked in air fryer. I guess she can give the best answer for it.
And all her items look really yummy...

I'm somehow not able to tag her !

    Hi Anika,
I think airfryer is def a good investment... I use it make
crisp kurkure bhindi, masala peanuts and even crispy bitter guard fry for side dish. Just today tired the haldiram style moong dal snack and it was awesome. It def has a learning curve and requires patience. Mine is a basic one but serves my needs. Go for it!!

I have been using airfyer for 2 years now and definitely like the outcome esp for paneer tikka, tindora fry, bendi fry, french fries, spring rolls, hashbrowns, fried onion for biryani and such.. I like it over the convention oven is just because it doesnt take much long for preheating and done within no time..

Yes this is true, the taste is different. If you are into "healthy" eating then it is a good buy.
But if you like the taste to be 'original', then it can be a bit disappointing.
