    I don't remember any houses with out base moulding in the recent past. Looks good especially with wooden floor/ tile etc. I personally like crown molding also, but can do without it if there are constraints. Both would be a good idea though!

    Recently learnt some techniques where we can get creative with base and crown like using a base under a crown to give some more details to the crown and such. Interesting.

    Just saw this Mstrue! indeed it is a fascinating world and so many options! i wish I had the time and money of course to play around.
