    Thank you @justanothergirl JAG!
    Very sweet of you.

We are getting back on track, although till last Friday we were feeling helpless and worried. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
    I should begin posting ...

Hi, last week was one eventful week with stroller break down and then the train services stopped abruptly and my toddler threw in a fit ...just about the time when pressure was building up..my lil one called out 'Hi mottai mama'.. The stranger smiled back unknowing of the wonderful adjective used by my lil one. Thank Godq we arent in India. That was indeed the ice breaker.

Soaked chana, peas, beginning of the week. Can throw in peas liberally in upmas and pulao.. Prepared alu masala and mixed chapathi dough beforehand.

Downside this week had headache, (which i secretly love for the royal treatment that comes along with it). The next day morning my sink resembled Dangal show, with all the vessels crowding near the sink. Thought will retrace my steps back to the room.

Thank god for giving me the strength to face such small challenges.

My new year resolution this year was to smile at people, infact it was last years resolution. Never mind as long as i bring it to action.

During the recent trip to daughters school trip, I smiled at the sweeper who was in his own world pulling out bubblegums stuck to a chair. Next at the hospital receptionist who greets everyone despite the fact not everyone reciprocates in the same way. Felt very contented. There is some sort satisfaction when you do things without expecting any returns.

Yesterday was like any other day.
Woke up, made coffee. Had a slow start. Usually I'm brisk in the mornings. Made coffee and breakfast. Dried washed clothes upstairs. Had bath, puja. Left for work.
Work was very hectic. Came home only at 6. On the way bought some fresh vegetables. Brought the dried clothes back. I make an elaborate dinner at only nights as that's the only meal we eat at home. Chopped all necessary veggies. Made rice, peerkanga thogayal, rasam, mushroom omlette.arranged everything on table and cleaned the kitchen.
Had dinner along with dh (that's rare) watching TV. Had a couple of phone calls. Hit bed at 10.15pm.

Nice new year resolution @swathi27 .
@coffeecups .. your mention of rasam made my mouth water. Sounded yummy especially in this cold weather.
