How would you like them to teach you? Take a project and work through it with you? Have you given thought to what’s the best way you learn?
These would be nice to learn - How to whistle popular and classic tune Stringing jasmine flowers Drape a sari elegantly Basic photography skills (smart phone) How to flip a pancake Analyze ghazals or poetry (by Mir, Zauq, Daag) Apply party make-up (kinda, sorta, maybe) Most ideas lifted from this thread. Some are short courses, not long term.
Typically for a crochet or knitting project for example , the undermentioned would matter: 1. Actual image of the project. 2. Materials required for the same and where it can be sourced. 3 demo of the work. 4. Questions and answers session to be able to clear doubts on actual working of the project. I feel as we go along, we may come up with things that may be required.
I don't have any foundations, but having watched enough movies, I can follow the (gist of) conversations without having to scan the subtitles. However, when the songs come on, the subtitles turn really corny; I am sure they are not so, because poetic license and hyperbole don't translate all that well. Thinking more seriously about my wish, I conclude that this is something I have to work on, rather than depend on someone to teach me. Problems that are not serious enough to drive one to seek a solution with any sort of urgency, tend to be on the wish-list for a long time.
I am trying to learn a few technologies and if there is someone who can spare a few hours a week to clear doubts or do the code review that would be of immense help to me . I have tried a few online skype classes from india but none was helpful for me. If some study groups could be formed even better. Thank you.
With the number of queries on finances on various threads, please consider an online course for women to take control of their finances. Starting with writing down assets and liabilities to going down the list of goals and creating a sample asset plan and investment plan. It's a long class but I don't find anything online that does it in that detail(other than the r2iclubforums but then that's a forum that we have to sift through). A lecture kind of class(udemy like) will be nice.
