Weightloss From January 1st 2020

    Hello,

    Anyone planning to start a new weight loss journey from January/1/2020?
    I didn't see any thread for it so thought of starting it.
    Can everyone who wants to join this journey post here her current weight, expected weight, time-frame, how are they going to achieve it? diet then what type? exercise then how much and how?

    Let's motivate each other and loose this darn extra weight.

    What do you think ?

    My current weight : 72 kgs
    My expected weight : 62 kgs

    Planned diet : more proteins (eggs everyday), try to get used to eating less carbohydrates (less chapati/rice), more water, no sugar, no fried food.

    Exercise : thrice a week Zumba class

    Expected time-frame : 2kgs weight loss every month.

    I will check my weight again on 1st January and start this journey.
    Planning to check weight every Wednesday morning.

    Please let me know if this sounds doable. or anything needs to be changed.

    I have 10 kgs and some inches to lose.I portion size my food.I do home workouts 5 days a week.I do not want to lose more than 2 kgs a month. I am using HealthifyMe app to track my food intake.I check my weight on a weekly basis and inches on a monthly basis.

    i need to start same from jan onwards.
    Current weight = 66kgs
    Ideal weight = 56 kgs

    I am thinking of trying one of these remedies along with portion control n exercise.
    • Soak 50 gms horse gram in water overnight and pressure cook till soft. Add 500 ml water (10 times the horse gram).1 gm ginger, 1 gm cumin powder, 2 gm saindava lavanam, 1 gm pepper powder and cook for a while.Drink this soup everyday at 4 pm. This is also excellent to fight against cold and cough. This tends to create body heat so have buttermilk too.
    • Start with 20 to 25 gm of softly boiled ulava guggillu (horse gram) and gradually increase to 50 to 100 gm. Take in the Morning and Evening. Can add onion and chilly pieces along with seasoning like gugillu.Take butter milk and barley for reducing heat generated due to above food.Excess fat in Stomach reduces and excess weight will be reduced.
    • Boil 1 tbsp horse gram powder with 1 tbsp small cumin seed powder in 4 glass of water till it reduces to 1 glass. Drink in empty stomach every morning and evening.Note: Cumin is to reduce body heat caused by horse gram.Make sure to have lots of buttermilk.
    • Eating horse gram in any form(powder or boiled) can reduce weight.

    I need to reduce 10 Kgs and all the extras. Count me in.

    I’m currently in detox mode started right after Christmas. Ate soulfully whatever I had to from past few weeks as I was prepared to detox myself after that.

    Reduced 2.5 kgs as of now.
    Should continue with same spirit.

    I used to hate Ulavalu in India. Only now I realised it’s importance. Now I enjoy Ulava Charu and Guggillu.

    Yesterday I relished Moong, Fenugreek and Horsegram sprouts with a dash of lime, cucumber, avocado, cumin powder and some pomegranate for dinner.
