    This week update:


    Aug 4 - ex done
    Aug 5 - ex done
    Aug 6 - walking
    Aug 7 - ex done
    Aug 8 - nil
    Aug 9 - ex done
    Aug 10 - 30 mins walking with DH.. Enjoyed it :)


    Yah, I was able to exercise 6 days this week :exactly:

    My weekly summary

    4th Aug, Mon: 3 mile morning walk

    5th Aug, Tue: 2 mile morning walk
    6th Aug, Wed: 3.25 miles walk
    7th Aug, Thu: 30 minutes treadmill [2 miles] + 12 minutes elliptical [1 mile]
    8th Aug, Fri: none
    9th Aug, Sat: none
    10th Aug, Sun: 4 mile hike

    so 5 out 7 and I'm happy with it! :)

    will try to do 5 days this week too although I might not go for walk today...want to take it easy after the hike yesterday...even though it was 4 miles in total...but was quite steep..so 2 miles uphill..I did after a long time! it was fun though ..

    Here, is my updated last week summary:

    Aug 4 - covered 3 miles in treadmill
    Aug 5 - 60 mins in treadmill and 20 mins normal walk
    Aug 6 - 40 mins normal walk
    Aug 7 - covered 2.97 miles in treadmill
    Aug 8 - nil due to dr appointment
    Aug 9 - covered 3.17 miles in treadmill
    Aug 10 - 20 mins normal walk

    I was able to exercise 6/7 last week and yes, I've lost 0.4-0.6 lbs (updated my ticker happily) :)

    Breakfast - 1 slice plain wheat bread (store bought), 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar), home made fruit smoothie (included banana, apple, strawberry & blueberries)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, home made yogurt, vegetable and 1 boiled egg white
    Eve - 1 sweet potato
    Dinner - Roti with cauliflower curry

    1 multi vitamin


    Workout :
    climbing stairs (at home)

    treadmill - 70 mins - all of power went off so couldn't note down the distance or calories
    :redface:. but, i would have covered more than 3 miles today

    arm workout with and without weights (used 3 lbs) - arm circles, lateral lifts, bicep curls, triceps overhead extension, triceps back kicks(enjoyed it)

    squats - 15

    Today weight: 151 lbs (lowest)

    Breakfast - 2 slices plain wheat bread (store bought), 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar), home made fruit smoothie (included banana, apple, strawberry, blueberries & water)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, home made yogurt, vegetable and 1 boiled egg white
    Dinner - 3 small roti with peas curry
    1 multivitamin

    No junk :cool2:

    Workout :

    • Climbing stairs (at home)
    • Treadmill - Distance: 3.23 miles, Calories burnt - 366, Time: 60 mins, LAPs - 13
    • Arm workouts with and without weights (used 3 lbs) - arm circles, lateral lifts, bicep curls, triceps overhead extension
    • Basic and Sumo Squats - 15
    • Modern mom hip ex

    Overall, a great day with respect to food diet and workouts :2thumbsup:

    • 45 mins fast walking (inhaled some fresh air)
    • Arm workouts
    • Basic and Sumo Squats - 10
    Overall, a great day with respect to food diet and workouts[​IMG]

    Today weight - 150.4 lbs (lost an lb).. Looks like my goal weight isn't too far :p. I couldn't update my ticker for some reason..

    Summary for First 10 days:
    Aug 1
    - exceeded 1070 calories-emotional eating-walked 90 mins
    Aug 2-saved 180 calories-yoga 1 hr
    Aug 3-exceeded 400 calories- birthday party pizza

    dinner-walked 1.5 mile
    Aug 4-saved 200 calories-10 sets SN,40 mins kick boxing
    Aug 5-missed calculating-slow jogging 30 min, 1 hr strength training

    Aug 6-missed calculating-20 mins tennis,35 mins kickboxing
    Aug 7-saved 276 calories-10 mins stretches,35 mins kickboxing
    Aug 8-exceeded 900- Pooja day- oily food and carb - consumed less quantity, but high calorie food- Nil exercise
    Aug 9-No saving, no exceeding- maintained-1 hr yoga
    Aug 10-exceeded 250- restaurant food- Nil exercise

    4 days over ate.
    2 days no workout
    Rest all days was good with workouts and diet.
    Lost almost 1 pound.
    I aim to reduce the number of red days in my second phase and reduce more weight.

    Aug 12-saved 100 calories-1 hr floor workout
    Aug 13-exceeded 150 calories- 1hr outdoor walk, 35 mins of kick boxing and ab workouts.
