Using iron kadai

    Hi,
    I am veena new to this forum.Can anyone help me with this..How do I use a round bottomed iron kadai on electric stove? The first time I tried it was dancing on my electric coil.I have heard abt wok rings..but not sure if it works.Does anyone use a wok ring to stablise the indian kadai on electric stove and are there any issues related to this? Please reply..

    Welcome to this site dear Veena...

    Am not very sure about how safe it is to use an Iron vessel on an electric hot plate.

    The best vessels to use are flat bottom for quick and even heating and less time consuming.

    Also, I am not sure if a wok ring would stand fit on a hot plate and again not very safe.
