    You can paste an old newspaper on the wall beneath the gas stove. It will take in all the oil spills. You can change it every few days to reveal the sparkling tiles underneath.
    Mop the kitchen floor everyday if u have crawling babies / toddlers. This help remove the onion skins or small items of garbage missed in regular cleaning

    Its a good idea of pasting old news paper to avoid oil spills but only the problem with this is their would be threat of cockroaches in hides of papers. but instead of that if use old newspaper when we are cooking some deep fry item's & once frying is completed ,we can remove the paper .
    I agree with you to mop the kitchen floor every day to remove unnoticed things.thanks for tip.

    my mother and my sisters follow this from years
    another alternative is you can lightely........ roast..... rava ,broken wheat [dalia] and oatsthey last for long time.

    Nice one..Can anyone share ideas on how to wash vessels fastly and keep the kitchen clean.
    As i am working woman i dont find enough time in washing them . it is very hectic to manage things in kitchen.
    Any advice on managing kitchen and cleaning house will help a lot.

    i agree with you ,its really a very big task to manage kitchen & more frequently for the working woman. my advice is wash non greasy vessels immediately after its use,so that you don't see pile of vessels in kitchen. vessels which are greasy or with stubborn stains make sure to keep it under tap,so that vessels doesn't get dry & once you are free with other stuff you can wash them with little effort.
