@kkrish I loved the way you said, "The house didn't get messy/cluttered in a day.. so don't expect to clean it up in one day"...gives me much needed perspective...
Else I just try to do it all in a day and get dispirited that nothing significant gets done..like the anecdote you posted..

If you are anemic, you can try doing breathing exercises and pranayama.
They will really help you to boost up the energy. Try alternate breathing or kapalapathi.

    Good morning
Posting this during my lunch break...

I have decided to start with food :) so, kitchen and cooking.
Though i will be doing other work, my post will only be on one thing to start with, in order that a new homemaker or a working person can also do.

    You'll get the drift soon...
    *************
    First stop...kitchen pantry
The pantry gets to look unkempt within a few weeks after I organize. must be doing something wrong. going to try again with all here.

Yesterday, at 7:30 pm I removed all items from the top shelf of the kichen pantry .
Then I took a dekho at each item and decided if I will ever use it. ... yeah cake mix, dry fruit, cake sprinkles, some old boxes... all been there forever.
Took a deep breath and threw them away. wait... there was a small hitch. my mom had just come down to have her meal. She would've had a fit she saw what I threw away. So had to wait till she left the kitchen area. (My mom and I never saw eye to eye; always at loggerheads)
I put back all the empty boxes.
Made a list of all the food items that were going back on the shelf.
Was done by 8:30. if my mom hadn't come in i might have finished by 8 pm.

After the first shelf i was itching to begin on the next; but held back.

It felt good to throw out stuff that were weighing on my conscience so many days.

So what did i just do?
    Cleaned
    De-cluttered
Listed the food items I had

Do you think this is doable? Then please do try... careful... not the whole cupboard or kitchen area. Only a small area.
    Best wishes
    K

Doing great K...I often think about this thread of urs and others ...
Started on a major decluttering project this summer. When I am really tired.. I tell myself sink ..just one sparkling kitchen sink before I go to bed ...it has helped me enormously .
I like ur sorting bins idea. I do that do. Have bins for socks ,scarves ,dupattas etc.

    Hi
After work if you feel tired and cant work on tummy excercise no issues , just relax on the sofa , drink a glass of warm water after 2 miinutes or 2 , just bend down to touch the ground near ur feet try this with 5 counts initially and increase as comfortable you can do and reach higher counts , evn mine is c section delivery this worked for me .
    give a try

    @justanothergirl
    Oh, thanks so much JAG!
I've been on a "lean" project myself. I am amazed at the amount and kind of stuff we've amassed.

Thanks for the bins tip - I am sure many of the readers here will use this method; frees up time folding those small and wispy materials.
