    Daughter coined out sneak queen for the above dish..lol..the better half is still deciphering what was in his gravy..but relished it..

    ( i know you guys won't participate i guessing games.
    So.it is watermelon rind, maize flour, ginger, and herbs kofta.)

    Hi Friends,
    Can anyone let me know whether Green moong dal cause Gas if taken regularly..My Grandmother is suffering from constipation issues and doctor has told to take boiled green moong dal everyday..Can anyone please help me out..

    Sorry for late reply..

    Cauliflower
    Moong dal 3 to 4 spoons
    Coconut (dry/fresh)
    Green chillies - 2
    Ginger -1/2 inch

    Tadka:
    Urud dal, Channa dal, jeera, mustard, slit red chilli, curry leaves

    Cut the florets, drop in salted warm water.. drain after ten mins..

    Meanwhile grind:
    3 to 4 spoons of coconut, chilli, ginger, little salt..

    Give tadka in 2 spoons of oil, add curry leaves, florets, moong dal, turmeric fry, salt for 2 mins add. 1 /2 glass of water.. let it boil for ten mins/till it gets soft and water evoperated and keep fried 2 more mins.

    Finally add the coconut mixture fry for 2 mins..

    @pihu123 you follow this thread for so long, i have shared a tip on reducing gassiness with legumes..and it worked for a couple of people. It is a lot to type and i am not well enough to type..do search
